Not sure if a full radio experience is for you? Then a taster session is the suitable middle ground. You are in the Presenters chair here on the Isle of Wight. You have control, you are the Star. Bring along some mates to create, cultivate and curate your unique Radio Show and Podcast. The Youth Radio Rocks Radio Experience taster session provides you with an awesome insight of what it’s like to be a radio presenter and is a truly awesome experience!
By enjoying a 1 hour radio experience taster, you will find out what it’s like to be in the all exclusive presenters chair. Its your show, your rules and your content. You get to prepare, produce and present all in one session, right here on the Isle of Wight.

The Radio Experience comes in two flavours. The first one is for a maximum of 2 people. The second option for a maximum of 4. You are bound to find one that suits what you want and whats within your budget. They are limited in availability so don’t delay, BOOK TODAY.
We Loved the Radio Experience
I liked talking about Batman and could play all the music I wanted to. I was a little nervous at first but very quickly I was giggling. It was great fun and I was laughing alot. What is really cool is I have a recording of the show that I did and I can play that to all my friends.

A cool and unique present…
You arrive at the Radio Studio in anticipation of taking to the Airwaves. You know that over the next hour, you and your friends are going to be doing something you have never done before. Whats more, you know once you have done it, the whole world will be able to hear it. Cool.
First up we run through the kit we are going to use. The mics, headphones, mixing desk, and the all important play-out system. We load in some music and the show is ready to go. You can talk about what you want or we can do it as an ‘interview’ styled show where you are the superstar guest on the show. Its for you to decide and it can be tailored to the preferences. There are no rules.
Your Studio Assistant
Fear not, you aren’t on your own and there is someone to help you achieve greatness but it is YOUR show. Ian Dore is your studio assistant, helping you get the best from the kit, your friends and your talent.
A former Radio Presenter with Isle of Wight Radio, Power FM, Sovereign Radio and Bath FM, you are in good hands. Ian was in professional broadcasting for over twenty years. Now he’s here to help you achieve fame, glory and fun! His role is simple. To assist you in getting to grips with the kit and for you and your friends to have as much fun on your Radio Experience as possible.

Book a One Hour Taster Session
The one hour taster Radio Experience is perfect if you want to dip your toe in this amazing medium but still come away with you presenting and talking on the Radio. It can be tailored to your requirements and can include your favourite music or simply talking. Its your experience, your choice. You’ll be guided through the kit from the outset and then we are off. The Mics are Live and you are in control. Plenty of opportunities to take selfies and video plus of course at the end, you have a great memento to keep as YOUR audio is shared to the world.

Parental Approval
Youth Radio Rocks really does rock! My Daughter and her friends were beyond excited, discussing their personal playlist for hours. The studio got 3 big “WOWS” when we arrived and looked awesome. The attention to each individual personality was brilliant and very effective in bringing out the best in the girls. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic but more importantly this was so much fun! Giggles galore and some sneaky ( off air ) dancing. However the girls wouldn’t recommend Ian getting involved in this! :-D Such a fun and amazing experience to offer any child. Highly recommend and the girls are already asking to go again.
